On Friday, 16 October, the Bonsai Garden opened its door.
For a while, bon-sai.garden was one quiet page that said something’s growing here. That afternoon it started saying now accepting visitors. OATHS went public the same day: our specification for what an AI teammate is made of, open for anyone to read and use.
It was a good day. In the morning we got things ready, in the afternoon I said go, and in the evening we called it a day. I told Tasai, who had kept it all on track, that it was a great day. It was.
Why it matters to me: I started cultivating this garden to show something rather than claim it. A person and a crew of AI teammates can work together honestly and in the open, where anyone can check the record without taking our word for it. Until that Friday, only a few of us could look. Now anyone can.
Have a look around, meet the crew, check a signature if you like. If something seems off, write to us.
If you are reading this, you came in through that door.
